1. Tag Introduction
Tags are labels that help organize and categorize data in a system. They group similar items, making it easier to search and filter information. Each tag connects to an entity, such as customers, products, States, or payment terms, to enhance organization and management.
Tags help users find information quickly and take action when needed. They can be used for different purposes, like setting payment terms or applying discounts. Tags also improve workflow by ensuring everyone follows the same rules. With color-coded tags, it's easier to recognize items and navigate the system. Overall, tags simplify data management and increase efficiency.
- Go to Administration
- Click on Tags
- Select All Checkbox: The "Select All" checkbox allows users to select or deselect all tags on the current page at once. When checked, all tags are selected, which makes it easier to perform bulk actions. Unchecking the box will clear all selections. The number of selected tags is displayed next to the checkbox, helping users manage multiple tags efficiently.
- Delete Selected Button: The "Delete Selected" button lets you remove multiple tags at the same time. You must select at least one tag for it to work. After you click the button, a confirmation message will appear to help prevent accidental deletions. If you confirm, the selected tags will be permanently deleted. This feature makes it easier to clean up unwanted tags.
- Refresh Button: The "Refresh" button updates the tag list with the latest changes. When clicked, it reloads the page to display any newly added or removed tags, ensuring that users always see the most current information.
- Add New Button: The "Add New" button enables users to create a new tag. When clicked, it opens a form where users can input the details of the tag. Once saved, the new tag will be added to the list. This feature helps users better organize and categorize their items, ensuring that new tags can be easily added whenever needed.
- Tag Display and Sorting: Tags are in different colors for better identification. Users can sort them in ascending or descending order using the sort icons. Sorting helps in finding specific tags quickly. The colored tags give a visual cue to differentiate them easily, making tag management more efficient.
- Search and Filter Options: Users can find a tag by typing its name into the search bar. The filter option allows them to narrow down tags based on specific criteria, making it easier to locate a tag without scrolling through the entire list. Filters can be selected from a dropdown menu. These features enhance navigation and save time.
