1. Contacts Overview
The Contacts is designed to manage and view all customer contacts and their notification subscriptions in one place. It allows users to easily track and control various communication preferences for each contact associated with customer accounts.
2. Key Features of the Contacts

Search & Filter Options
- At the top of the Contacts tab, there is a search bar that allows you to find specific contacts by entering an email, first name, last name, account number, or customer name.
- Additional filters can be applied by clicking on the Filter button, allowing for more refined searches within the contact list.

Contact Selection
- A checkbox at the top allows users to Select All contacts or select individual contacts. The number of selected contacts is displayed next to this option.
- Users have the option to Download Selected contacts, which can be useful for generating offline reports.
- The Refresh button updates the contact list to reflect any recent changes. .
- The Contacts tab supports pagination, which enables users to navigate through multiple pages of contacts. Users can select the desired page or use navigation arrows to move between pages.
3. Contact Details and Notifications
- Account Name: The Account Name field displays the name of the account associated with the contact.
- Account Number: The Account Number is a unique numeric or alphanumeric identifier assigned to each account.
- Bill-to Account Number: The billing account number linked with the customer.
- First Name: The First Name field allows users to enter or update the first name of the contact person associated with the account.
- Last Name: The Last Name field allows users to enter or update the first name of the contact person associated with the account.
- Email Address: Email Address of the customer to send important updates or mails.
- Each contact card includes a View Details link, which provides further insights into the contact’s information and settings, allowing for a more detailed management experience.
4. Notification Subscription Options
Each contact has a list of toggles under various notification preferences. These allow users to enable or disable specific notifications for each contact. The available notification types include:
- Primary Contact: Identifies the main contact for the account. This person will receive critical updates and serve as the primary recipient for correspondence.
- Order Confirmation: Notifies the contact of order confirmations.
- Sell-to Order Confirmation: Sends order confirmation details specifically to the sell-to contact.
- Return/Cancel Order: Notifies about returns or cancellations.
- Marketing Contact: Flags the contact to receive marketing communications.
- Invoice Posted: Notifies when an invoice is posted.
- Invoice Due: The Invoice Due toggle switch enables or disables notifications regarding outstanding invoices. When activated, the contact will receive alerts about upcoming or overdue payments. This setting helps ensure that invoices are settled on time, reducing the risk of late payments.
- Sell-to Invoice Posted: The Sell-to Invoice Posted toggle switch controls whether the contact receives notifications when invoices related to sell-to accounts are posted. If enabled, the user will be notified whenever an invoice is generated and finalized.
- Sell-to Invoice Due: Sends invoice due notifications to the sell-to contact.
- Price Update: Notifies about changes in pricing.
- Shipment Notification: Sends notifications when shipments are dispatched.
- Suggested Order: Recommends orders to the contact based on previous purchases.
- Statements: Allows the contact to receive account statements. These statements provide an overview of transactions, including invoices, payments, and account balances.
