3. Filter
- Filter: The filter dropdown menu enables users to refine inventory records based on specific attributes. Users can click on the dropdown to view available filtering options such as product code, store code, and on-hand quantity.
-
Product Code Filter: The Product Code filter lets users view inventory records based on a specific product code. When selected, only items that match the entered product code are displayed.
-
Store Code Filter: This filter helps users find inventory records for a specific store location. Selecting it updates the inventory list to show stock details for that store.
-
On-Hand Quantity Filter: The On-Hand Quantity filter allows users to view inventory based on stock levels by specifying a minimum and maximum quantity range. When selected, users must enter both values to define the stock range they want to filter. The system then displays only those inventory items within the specified range. 4. Inventory Stock Table Overview:
The inventory stock table provides a clear, structured view of product stock levels across locations. It helps users track stock availability and distribution efficiently. Each row represents a specific product, displaying relevant details such as product codes, descriptions, and stock quantities.
- SKU# (Stock Keeping Unit) Column: The SKU# column lists product codes and item descriptions. This information helps users quickly identify products based on their assigned codes. Each product entry contains a name and a brief description to provide context.
- Total Qty. (Total Quantity) Column: The Total Qty. Column displays the overall stock available for each product across all locations. This value represents the sum of inventory from different storage facilities. If more details are needed, users can click the "view more" link to access a breakdown of stock by specific locations or batches.
- Location-Based Stock Columns: The table includes multiple columns representing different storage locations. Each location has a column displaying the stock available at that specific facility. If stock is unavailable at a location, the table shows a "-" symbol. This structured format provides a quick comparison of stock levels across various locations.
- Click on View More.
- Expanded Inventory Details / View More Section:
- This section displays the availability of that specific product for all store/locations.
- The "view more" option reveals additional inventory details for a selected product, breaking down stock availability at each storage location. This expanded section provides a deeper insight into stock levels, reserved quantities, and expected restocks. The detailed breakdown includes fields such as On-Hand Quantity, Reserved Quantity, Available Quantity, Past Due, and Expected Quantity for upcoming months.
- On-Hand Quantity Column: The On-Hand Qty. Column shows the total number of units physically available in each location. This value represents the current stock that has not been allocated or reserved for any specific purpose. If a storage location does not have any stock, a "-" symbol is displayed.
- Reserved Quantity Column: The Reserved Qty. Column shows how many units are set aside for specific orders but have not been shipped yet. This helps users keep track of stock commitments and prevents overselling. By considering reserved stock, users can make better planning and restocking decisions.
- Available Quantity Column: The Available Qty. Column represents the stock that is still available for new orders after accounting for reserved units. This value is calculated by subtracting the Reserved Qty. from the On-Hand Qty. It gives a clear indication of the stock that can be allocated to new requests. If no stock is available, the value may be zero or marked with "-".
- Past Due Column: The Past Due column indicates the number of units that were expected to be received but have not yet arrived. This data is important for identifying potential supply chain delays. A higher past due quantity may indicate supplier issues or delays in stock replenishment.
- Expected Quantity Columns (Monthly Forecast): The Expected Quantity section provides a forecast of stock arrivals for upcoming months. Each column represents a specific month, showing the quantity expected to arrive in that period. This helps in planning future stock levels and ensuring continuous availability. If no stock is expected in a given month, the field remains empty or shows "-"
