1. Shipment Calendar Introduction
The shipment calendar is a scheduling and tracking tool that displays all outgoing shipments daily. It shows detailed daily information, including the number of orders, units, and pallets scheduled for shipment. This helps users quickly identify busy shipping days, monitor workload, and ensure that logistics and warehouse operations are aligned. The calendar allows users to view shipment data by month, week, or day, and provides easy navigation across different periods. It also includes a refresh function to update the display with the latest data. Overall, it helps streamline shipment planning, improve visibility, and optimize resource allocation.
Each calendar day displays key metrics such as the number of orders, units, and pallets, helping logistics teams monitor volume and plan resources accordingly. Color-coded indicators enhance visibility into shipment types and activity levels, while navigation controls make it easy to switch between daily, weekly, and monthly views. This tool streamlines shipment tracking and decision-making by consolidating critical data into a clear, interactive format.

🎨 Color Codes for Shipment Status
The colors shown in the shipment calendar represent each order's current shipment status. Each color dot corresponds to a specific status, such as Open, Shipment Scheduled, Carrier Assigned, or Shipped. For example, light blue indicates an open order, green shows that the shipment has been delivered or shipped, while red signals an exception. These color codes help users quickly understand the progress or issue with an order at a glance. The legend provided below the calendar explains what each color stands for.
The colored dots on each date tile and in the status column of the order table indicate shipment progress. Here's what each color represents:

3. Context Menu Options for Shipment Orders (Right-Click Functions)
A guide explains the right-click menu options and rules for booking shipments in the shipment calendar.
đź“‹ Right-Click Options on Shipment Orders
When you right-click on an order in the calendar's order list, you’ll see the following options:
-
Book Shipment
If Book Shipment is enabled, then Cancel Shipment also becomes available, allowing users to cancel it if needed later.
This is used to confirm or initiate the shipment for the selected order.
It is enabled only when conditions based on the shipment status and channel are met (included below). -
Cancel Shipment
The Cancel Shipment option allows users to cancel a booked shipment. Once a shipment is booked, this option becomes enabled, so the user can withdraw it anytime. This helps in case of last-minute changes or errors in the booking. -
Move to Another Date
The Move to Another Date option lets users reschedule a shipment to a different day. When selected, a calendar pop-up allows you to pick a new date for the order. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the order to the desired date directly on the shipment calendar for quicker adjustments. -
Change Shipment Status
It opens a submenu to manually update the shipment status (e.g., from “Scheduled” to “Shipped,” depending on user permissions).
4. Book Shipment Availability Guidelines
To quickly determine when the "Book Shipment" option is available:
The "Book Shipment" option confirms a shipment for processing. However, its availability depends on two main factors:
-
The Order Shipment Status
-
The assigned Shipping Channel
Below are the detailed conditions under which the Book Shipment option is either enabled or disabled:
1. When the Shipment Status is "BOL/Label Created"
-
Shipping Channel: Any (DRT, Primary, or Manual)
-
Book Shipment: Not available
Reason: The label or Bill of Lading has already been created, indicating a later stage in the shipment process. Booking is no longer allowed.
2. When the Shipment Status is "Carrier Assigned"
-
Shipping Channel: DRT → Not available
-
Shipping Channel: Primary → Available
-
Shipping Channel: Manual → Not available
Explanation: The shipment can be booked only when the Primary carrier is assigned. Manual and DRT channels don't allow booking at this stage.
3. When the Shipment Status is "Shipment Scheduled"
-
Shipping Channel: DRT → May vary (Depends on system configuration)
-
Shipping Channel: Primary → May vary (Depends on system configuration)
-
Shipping Channel: Manual → Not available
Note: Booking may or may not be available for DRT and primary channels depending on how the system is set up. Manual shipping does not support booking at this point.
🔄 Change Shipment Status Options
-
Mark as open:
This status means the shipment is still in the early stage and not yet processed. It's used when the shipment is not ready to be moved forward. -
Mark as delayed:
Select this if there’s a delay in the shipping process. This helps notify the team and keep tracking accurate. -
Mark as shipped:
Use this when the order has left the warehouse and is on its way to the customer. It confirms that the shipment is in transit. -
Mark as delivered:
This marks the shipment as complete. It means the order has reached the customer successfully.
